Brief

This show open is a complete reboot of a project I completed earlier in my career. Alive Again was a television pilot created by Mark Sheppard and Hoa Tong. It was to be a docu-series detailing the accounts of those who have claimed to have near death experiences. They needed a :30 show intro to set the tone for the series. What follows here is my 2019 Redux

SOLUTION

For this concept, I adopted the device of an armillary to represent man’s quest for answers and our thirst for understanding of the unknown. Graceful orbits and delicate clockwork precision stand in stark contrast to the violence of death and destruction. Out of the chaos, in slow motion time-reverse assembly, our show is revealed—brought back from the brink.
